Luke Petersen

Luke Petersen is the Chief Operating Officer of PDM. With more than 17 years of industry experience, Luke has spent almost half of that time helping PDM become an industry leader. He is deeply involved with the company’s operations and productions, including strategic development, human resources operations, and asset planning.

A native of Newton, Iowa, Luke graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems, Production Operation Management, and Transportation/Logistics. Luke is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He uses his education and experience to constantly drive a culture and environment that fosters the development of OE (Operational Excellence) in every department.  Living and breathing safety and quality is a mindset and a decision that Luke wakes up with every day.

When he’s not in the office, Luke enjoys spending time with his family and working in his yard. He is also involved with multiple charity’s and societal development groups.
