HR Analyst

Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Position Summary:  This position serves as a technical point of contact for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, payroll processing, benefits enrollment, testing of system changes, report writing, analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, and providing HRIS information to others as needed.  In addition, this position supports with recruitment, onboarding and other HR administrative functions.

HR Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work closely with management and HR/Accounting staff to ensure data integrity. Must be proficient with HRIS system (Paylocity) and adept in managing integration with payroll function.
  • Prepare and compile a variety of HR related analytical, standard and ad hoc reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
  • Support HRIS upgrades, testing, and technical projects.
  • Oversight of data entry in HRIS, with a focus on system and data integrity. Audit HR data as needed.
  • Develop procedures for data gathering and entry.
  • Prepare and file reports such as but not limited to EEO-1 report, Affirmative Action Plans, and other compliance reports as required.
  • Assist with recruiting activities including: ad placements, reviewing & distributing resumes, coordinating interviews, interviewing applicants and attending and organizing career fairs.
  • Manages applicant tracking, recruitment and interview process, including scheduling of phone and in-person interviews of applicants. Tracks status of candidates and manages all communication with candidates.
  • Schedules applicant drug screens, conducts reference checks, background checks, and E-Verify.
  • Assists in planning and conducting new employee onboarding.
  • Provides prompt and courteous customer service to employees and vendors.

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to successfully manage PDM’s HRIS (Paylocity)
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced, fast-moving work.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a human resources, business or related field preferred

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of Human Resource/recruiting experience.
