PDM Precast, Inc. is a Midwest producer of quality structural prestressed and precast concrete products. Our production facility, located in Des Moines, recently celebrated 30 years of PCI Certification. PDM was created by an employee group from IPC, Inc. who acquired the IPC Des Moines production facility, along with other key assets and employees, to form the new company in 2012. The ownership group has a combined 60 years experience in the construction, manufacturing, and prestressed/precast concrete industries.
PDM provides a broad prestressed concrete product offering, focusing primarily on structural products. This includes wall panels, double tees, hollowcore, beams, columns, spandrels, stairs, and risers. PDM produces product for the following types of projects: warehouse, distribution centers, medical facilities, waste water treatment facilities, manufacturing facilities, schools, multifamily, hotels, retail, residential, FEMA shelters, and other misc. buildings.
A strong in-house engineering presence exists at PDM, enabling us to provide solid technical expertise to projects not only during the design, production and erection phases, but also assistance to the local A/E community during the pre-design/pre-sales phases. We pride ourselves in clearly communicating our offering and out performing our commitments. With production based in Des Moines, IA, our core market place includes Iowa, Southern Minnesota, Western Illinois, Northern Missouri, Northern Kansas, and Eastern Nebraska. Based on our limited architectural offering, we welcome the opportunity to work with traditional architectural precast producers to provide a complete product offering.
